Tummy Time!

The pediatrician recommend we put Max on his tummy to strengthen his neck.  So we have been practicing.  He is getting so strong.

Starbucks Family

I guess you can say we are a Starbucks family.  There is no telling what would happen if Rob or I didn't have it to start the day. So, the whole family gets to take part in the enjoyment of a nice creamy beverage :)  Don't worry, Oz only gets whipped cream.

2 month check up....

He had his well baby check up and he is 23.5 inches tall (74 %), he is 14.5 pounds (92%), and his head is 41.2 cm (97%) He is a big baby, and he can't be stopped.  The doctor says he looks great and is reaching all his milestones, like holding his head up, and following objects.  We talked about gas and poo, both are just fine :)

Here are some random fun pictures!

Thanks for the soft blankie, Grandpa Mac, and Grandma Sandy

Feed me, I'm clearly starving.

Max is two months old!

It seems that Max is changing daily now that he has reached his 8 week mark.  He constantly sucks on his hand, not thumb, he likes to put all his fingers in his mouth.  He is also starting to make the cutest noises. (video coming soon).  Mama and Max play a cute little kissing game that he likes, it makes him laugh, which in turn melts my heart.

These past two months have been so truly amazing.  Nothing prepared me for these feelings.  I even cherish waking up with him at 4am, watching him watch me. And best of all is watching him fall back in to his peaceful dream state. I just stare at him, in awe that he is mine.

Friends and family keep telling him it only gets better, I can't even imagine :)

I see London, I see France...Part Deux

Paris was all they say it is.....romantic, charming, and full of great cafes. The weather was perfect, sunny yet crisp.  We had an amazing time!

I see London, I see France...

After talking with my dad today, I was inspired to post some pictures of the places Rob and I have traveled.   We love to travel and have made a promise to ourselves that we will continue our adventures, even with baby in tow.  I look forward to sharing these experiences with Max when he is a little older.

Last October we went to London and Paris for two weeks.  We knew we were trying to get pregnant so we decided to take one last big trip.  Little did I know, tiny lil Max was along for the ride.

Greenlake

Seattle hasn't given us the best summer this year.  This weekend however was our warmest so far, so we decided to meet some friends at the lake.  Greenlake is in the heart of Seattle, it isn't fancy but for us Seattle-lites, it does us just fine.

Rockabye Baby!

A have come to realize I will do almost anything to get/keep Max sleeping. I have gathered a few tools for my toolbox and one is a gift from our friends Mary and Jake.  Max seems to like chilling to a little Bob Marley and U2.
